Un/changing City Walk
A large-scale stop-motion animation interactive installation referencing old animation devices where a person's gestures and interactions determine the speed and flow of the movement of images. These images are stop-motion animations of a city street - thousands of stills of pedestrian city streets which to date include Istanbul, Manchester and Stockholm.
The installation encompasses a curved cloth screen that is backlit. Interactivity is enabled within the enclosed curved space, as seen above.
